How many views and clicks I ACTUALLY get…
I know what you’re wondering, how many views and clicks am I actually getting?
Let me start by saying one of the problems with a lot of Pinterest programs is that they promise big results, like 1,000,000+ monthly viewers, but they don’t deliver. Okay, sure, maybe you reach 1 million monthly viewers, but if you get there by pinning random crap, you’ll see zero results and make no sales. That sucks! So here are my actual results, how many clicks, views, and pins I am getting every single day.
I want to be transparent about everything—if you’ve taken my free course or read my book, you know I get a lot of views and I’m focused on getting sales, not just a crazy number of views. That 1.5 million means nothing to me if I’m not getting leads, sales, or people on my email list.
So, here ya go!
My average daily Pinterest clicks to my website, www.czinvitations.com, is 83. You can find this number in your Analytics under the Website section. From there, you can see the impressions, clicks, saves, as well as other things. You could also find these statistics on your website.
To find your Etsy numbers, you’ll have to look directly on your Etsy statistics. I direct traffic to both Etsy and my personal website. While I hate to give Etsy all those fees that they make from my sales, I know that some people are more comfortable making purchases through Etsy.
Year to date, I have had 5,048 people click through from Pinterest to one of my listings on Etsy. We’re 78 days into 2019, so 5,048/78 is about 65 clicks per day.
Between the two, each day I get an average of 148 click throughs.
These click throughs turn into real leads and real orders. Whether they order a $10 sample or a $1000 custom invitation suite, they’re real paying customers that found me on Pinterest. Maybe they don’t all make a purchase, but every single day I get more people opting into my email list from my website, so that’s a win as well.
Above are the pins that have been clicked the most in the last 30 days. Among just the top 5, it’s almost 500 click throughs. Check out those Impressions and Saves though too!
Below are my Impressions on pins that link to my website over the last 30 days. Over 50,000 sets of eyes look at invitations that link to my website everyday. That’s pretty cool considering it’s 100% free. PLUS, this is only my website, those 5,000 click throughs to Etsy I mentioned are not accounted for here as this is just my website statistics. Considering my Etsy and Website numbers are comparable, I would guess I have about that many impressions on my Etsy pins, making it nearly 100,000 impressions A DAY.
Finally, let’s look at everything all together.
Takeaways:
The numbers you should be tracking are your click throughs and saves for YOUR products or services. If you have 1,000,000 views but are seeing zero traffic on your website, we need to work on that. Saves that aren’t your products and services, aren’t going to make you any money.
These 100+ people that land on my website or Etsy everyday are FREE.
Once you have a good pin, it’ll work for you forever. One of those top 5 pins has been a top 5 pin for me since 2016. That’s over 2 years of clicks and saves that I didn’t have to do a thing for.
