Understanding Analytics
Get familiar with the terms.
Page 49.
Note your stats.
Use page 63 & 64 to set your goals and note where you’re at now.
How has it changed since you started?
Decide what matters to you.
I like to focus on my clicks and engaged audience, but you can focus on anything that feels good to you. I keep an eye on all numbers, but I don’t worry about monthly viewers.
Don’t assign meaning to the numbers. Your numbers are not an indication of how well you’re doing or how your business gets to be--they’re just a tool.
Look at your tailwind and Pinterest analytics and make note of your best pins
When was the last time you pinned the pins that are doing really well? If it has been awhile, repin them!
What do they look like?
Do the have anything in common?
Can you replicate your success?
What does this tell you about your audience?
What can you change or improve?
What was your description?
Look at your tailwind and Pinterest analytics and make note pins that aren’t doing amazing.
What can you learn from these pins? Did they have descriptions, etc.?
BOARD EXERCISE
List EVERYTHING that you do and sell.
From this list, make sure that there are boards & sections with these topics, or that you have a clear space to pin all your offerings to.
Even if you don’t have pins made for all the topics now, go ahead and make boards (or a list somewhere) that you want to add. If you want to add them, you can make them secret until you have pins to share!
SHOP THE LOOK
If you sell products, consider shop the look.
You can add these in the top left corner of your pin (shown how in this weeks live call).
ADS
Visit Promoted Pins Power Hour, a one hour course to help you get comfortable with Pinterest Ads. (linked below)
ADS ARE NOT REQUIRED TO MAKE A TON OF MONEY.
I run little to no ads on pinterest and other places. They are not required. Get good at the organic stuff first.
