WEEK FOUR HOMEWORK

Conversations (Page 38-40)

  1. Set Up Your Snippets!

    1. If it’s questions you get off of Etsy too, start a document to use for email, DMs, etc!

  2. Set up folders to organize your conversations

Selling

  1. People want to know the BENEFIT of what you’re selling, no matter the thing. Not just the features. So while we naturally show off the features, how can you also touch on the VALUE & BENEFIT of what you’re selling?

    1. For each product category, list the Value and/or Benefit that might not be seen right away.

      1. Ex:  for jewelry, maybe it’s 14k gold so that it will last forever and not turn your skin green.

    2. Do you have BENEFITS and VALUES listed in the description? If not, add it!

    3. How can you highlight the BENEFITS and VALUES in your FAQ, Conversations, etc.?

  2. Choose something to upsell! What is something you can ask people directly if they need or want to add on? (I like to pick something that is a low price, so it’s an easy YES!)

  3. Make a snippet to follow up with leads. When you don’t hear back, follow up!

Connecting with Clients

  1. Notice the Language that people use (Auditory, Visual, Kinesthetic), so that you can speak the same language (use the same words) to help close the deal.

  2. Give clear steps on how to place an order so they can place an order.

    1. For example, someone asking about an invitation, I might answer the questions and end with “You can get a sample to see in person by purchasing the listing in my shop for the invitation that you like! I would be happy to send you free color swatches, too!”

  3. Make a list of additional things you can do to help/serve your clients!

    1. How can you go above and beyond to help the client in order to close the deal?

      1. For example when someone asks for other fonts, I say yes, and send them the font book. When someone asks if it comes in other colors, I say yes, and send them other listings AND the color guide I have!

Reviews (Page 42-49)

  1. Add a snippet to ask for reviews

    1. Come up with a process for asking for reviews: when, how, where, etc!

  2. Come up with a procedure for dealing with negative reviews.

    1. I have mine listed in the ebook, but find a go to step by step guide to go to so that if you get a bad review, you know exactly what to do next.

Preparing for Week 5! Review the chapter over Marketing!

This download (found below) came from my other business and product, The Client Bundle. This is one of the many bonuses that comes with this resource bundle, which focuses on finding and managing clients on ALL platforms. Since this was a joint business, Laney (my biz partner) was kind enough to let me share this bonus with you! Inside you’ll find some ideas for how to ask for reviews, how to follow up with leads, and even how to network. While I definitely recommend rewriting them in your voice and specific to your business, I hope these are helpful!
